WELCOME TO THE SPRINGFIELD AFTER SCHOOL AND HOLIDAY CLUB.

We are aged from 4 – 11 years. 

We come along after school having been collected from Knockhall County Primary and Craylands Lane Infant and Primary.  We can also collect from Swanscombe Infant and Juniors, if this is required.

Our bus is insured to collect us, and has 3 point belt system and bolster seats if we are under the regulation height for sitting without bolsters. 

Our drivers are CRB checked and employed by the nursery. 

We can come along for full days during school holidays from 7am until 6.30pm and we have a full and planned itinerary of activities which take us off site when weather permits.  We visit local parks and places of interest as well as activity centres. 

Our key workers listen to our ideas and plan these into our itinerary whenever they can.  Sometimes we will go in 2 groups by age on different days if there are too many of us to go at one time safely. 

Our key workers are qualified nursery nurses.

In the after school club we have air hockey and football tables as well as games, sports, creative, messy and quiet activities. 

We have an area where we can chill out and read or do our homework if we wish to.  Our key workers will be on hand to encourage us if we get stuck!!

In our club we set the rules (with the help of our key workers!) and we like to follow them so that no one of us ever feels intimidated, we all share, help  and respect each other and our helpers, and we are encouraged to use our manners at all times. 

If we want to spend some time alone then we respect that whilst at the same time including each other in our play. 

We are independent and learning to be sociable adults and reminded of this if we get a little boisterous with each other! 

The whole accent of our club is to come along, meet new and old friends, and play together in harmony.

We have been known to end our club activities (holiday times) with a little show to which we invite our parents and show off our budding talents for the stage – all written and choreographed by us!! 

We bring along a packed lunch each day and like this to be healthy eating please!!  We don’t have chocolate bars because they melt in the sunshine and make a jolly good mess, but we do enjoy lots of fruit, water drinks and energy bars because boy do we need energy……………..

We will be happy to show you an example of our club itinerary and please ask for this either before or when you book to come along to our club. 

We would advise booking in advance especially for the busier periods as we prefer to take no more than 35 children at any one time. 

We do also ask for a 25% deposit on the total sessions booked please.

Our charges are £22 for a full day from 7 – 6.30 pm.

The children’s emotional well being is the first and foremost consideration.
